Charles will give a talk based on the Kayagatasati Sutta, the Discourse on Mindfulness of Body.  In this important discourse, the Buddha explains how to cultivate mindfulness of body and makes remarkable and illuminating claims about the benefits of this ability.

The group is non-sectarian and open to people from all traditions and lineages of Buddhism. Those who are not Buddhists but wish to learn how Buddhist teachings and practices might enrich their own lives are also welcome to attend.

This meeting is free of charge and open to everyone; all levels of practitioners are welcome. We start with 20 minutes of meditation. Beginning meditation instruction is provided for anyone who needs it; if you would like to learn the basics of meditation, please arrive a few minutes early.  For more information, please feel free to contact us at [masked]
