What drew you to Buddhism?

Have you had any realizations that can be shared?

I finally figured out that what I was seeking was not to be found in material belongings, power, or relationships... having found this, I just "let go" .. it led to a pretty remarkable place, that I'd be glad to tell you more about.

Do you subscribe to any particular lineage?

My favorite saying is "God is too big to fit inside one religion." It's modified version is "The Buddha mind is too big to fit inside any one sect. " lol , although I do seem to have karmic imprints to Nyingma.

What Tara B. is saying about this Meetup Group

When we are faced with the untimely death of an early member, we are confronted with the truth. The thing is that we are going to die. Further, that we don't know when. However it turns out, we have very limited time here. And we need to decide what is truly important.
