Shwen gave an excellent presentation. Particularly helpful was the suggestion that companies take small steps into social media in order to expand their comfort zone as they feel ready. Also, he gave lots of helpful references for us to use in further study of social media in biotech. Finally, thanks to Jerry for organizing the event!

Good idea, good presentation, dynamic speaker

Schwen gave an amazing presentation. He said traditional advertising is down and social websites like YouTube have over 10 million visitors/month! Models of influence are changing--today we are more influenced by the people we know and the people we interact with.The social websites can have a huge influence and organizations can capitalize on this. Schwen shared his insight and advice on the steps groups can take to become part of this social phenomenon... It was an interesting and informative presentation. If you missed Shwen's talk, I hope you will have another chance to hear him speak.

I look forward to getting a copy of the presentation. There were many references and webpages I would like to follow up on. There was significant content on the slides.
