10-15% capital raised is standard; I would go to the upper end because of time/skill involved.

Subject: [biotech-40] Question on raising capital for clinical trials

All,

I've been asked by an internationally renowned NYC-based physician (whom I've known for years) to assist in securing funding for a planned Phase II clinical trial in his novel genetic treatment for a common condition that heretofore has been responsive only to medications that carry potentially significant risk. (Note that Phase I results were extremely encouraging.)

Since I'm usually on the sci/tech and strategic communications side, I'm querying the group for guidance on appropriate fee/percentage rates and structures for my services in successfully securing said funding.

Thanks in advance,
Stuart Mason Dambrot
New York, NY
