An antidote to February. The Polish word for February is 'Luty' which means 'bleak' and that just about sums up the grimmest month of the year. So, together with the French and Italian Meetups (and the Wolves French Meetup) we're heading for Wolverhampton to enjoy some of the Midlands' best pubs. The detailed itinerary will be posted later. Just reeve the date in your diaries for now. Peter
The plan is:
Meet 6.30 at the Posada Lichfield St. Wolverhampton (opposite the Art Gallery more or lerss)
7.45 The Combermere Arms Chapel Ash (the Banks's Brewery tap)
9.00 The Hogshead Stafford St
10.00 The Great Western (where the Metro crawl finished)
The last train to Birmingham is from the adjacent Wolverhampton station at 22.50. the final Metro leaves at 23.45. So no problems getting back.
I will be getting the Metro from Snow Hill shortly before 6. If you're coming from Birmingham I suggest we meet in the Old Contemptibles Livery Street between 5 and 5,30 .
