Where did you learn Italian?

I started with a short course at Thorns College and then studied at home for a while. A few years ago I enrolled at The Brasshouse and am now at Level 2.2. My vocab & grammar are fairly good but I get really tongue-tied & nervous when trying to say anything much more complicated than "un bicchiere di vino bianco, per favore"! I would like the opportunity to meet people who love Italy and to practice la bella lingua in a casual setting. The occasional glass of vino may help too!

If you have been to Italy, what was your favourite place?

I've been to Italy many times. The first place I went to was Rome, and it will always be my favourite place - not just in Italy but the whole world. I have been back twice and will definitely go again.

Favourite things about Italy?

The history, culture, the variety between different regions, and of course the food.
