Welcome!

This group was created when I realized there is a great need for trustworthy, on call childcare for birth professionals who are woken in the dead of night by a laboring woman in need. That kind of childcare can be hard to find, and even when you do, sometimes it's hard to not feel guilty about waking your friends or family up at all hours of the night and leaving your child or children with them and promising to pick them up "sometime tomorrow.....".

I decided to start this group in hopes of finding other local birth professionals that can also benefit from forming a supportive circle of moms who all understand what it's like to have to rush your child to the babysitter's house at 2:00 am for an undetermined amount of time.

If you are a doula, a midwife, or other birth professional who is in need of on call childcare, or would like to provide on call childcare to other mothers in need, then this group is for you!
