We are a group of engineers and researchers in the bay area working in the field of Speech and Audio Digital Signal Processing. We have created this meetup to provide a platform for all of us to meet other fine folk working in the same field, on a regular basis, and in a non-academic setting. We intend to keep it simple, fun, free, and stimulating. So come and join us to socialize with other like minds, listen to others’ perspectives or share interesting ideas, new technologies and new knowledge. Above all, have fun with other like minds!

A note on our name: Why "BISH Bash"? Well, because we are bay area's most innovative signal hackers! But, this is also interesting because there is a jazz tune by that name and it’s awesome. Turns out the piano player/composer (Benny Green) grew up and may even now reside in Berkeley. Everyone should know that they would be requested to take their seats by playing this tune :)

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
