Learning the 3 Legs of the Bitcoin Economy

Some other Bitcoin meetups I've been too around the country (New York, San Francisco) follow a more "structured" approach with speakers from the Bitcoin community talking about their projects, presenting ideas etc.

I think it'd be a cool idea to start off 2014 trying a more structured meetup like this.

I think we should have[masked] minutes talks from members of our local Bitcoin community describing their work on projects that fall within what I believe are the 3 legs of the Bitcoin economy stool: "mining", "financial services/trading" and "customer/business use as a currency" - and I'll try to MC / fill in any of the spots that don't get filled.

A possible 4th being "wallets" and "security"?

Update
