Hallo everybody, I want to talk about safety issues.

Bitcoin's 7 Commandments
1. Use only official Bitcoin client from If you intend to use an alternative client, be sure to check first who created it and whether it has been approved by the Bitcoin community (preferably search the forum or ask a question).
2. Never download any software from the links provided by the users of this (or any other) forum without first verifying their sources. Consult with other members of this forum.
3. Never download software from sites with Bitcoin without checking on the forum or website is legitimate.
4. Do not keep large amounts of BTC in the portfolio on the computer that you are using the Internet on a daily basis.
5. Back up your portfolio and encrypt them.
6. Do not use the new pages for Bitcoin (newly-arising lotteries, casinos, wallets, bureaux de change, etc..) Until you are sure that the author is a reliable member of the Bitcoin community.
7. Digging connect only to verified pool.
Shall we add something to this?
