Networking through Bitcoins at Central Bistro

Hello, Bitcoiners! Do you own a Bitcoin business, or a business hoping to accept bitcoins? Are you seeking or offering work in the Bitcoin economy? This will be the perfect place to gain professional contacts and establish productive personal relationships! As usual, you can use your bitcoins to enjoy fine dining, local cuisine, and a craft beer for those who need help socializing. Just bring your mobile device and chosen payment system, and the staff will process your orders using BitPay and a dedicated tablet device.

Those of you without enough satoshis may still order using cash, debit or credit, but the topic of today will definitely be Bitcoin! Do you have any bitcoins? How did you make them? What do you like about Bitcoin, and how far do you see bitcoins spreading further down the road? We can discuss ideas for the future, for both our Meet Up and the currency revolution, and the tech-savvy can share their projects and thoughts. Even if you're new to Bitcoin, you can have a lot of fun meeting all kinds of new people!

There will be a gratuity (tip) of 18% added to your bill automatically, so to tip extra or not is up to you. As usual, you must be at least 19 years old or older to attend. Please remember that you need two valid pieces of identification, and that at least one of your IDs must show your photo. If on the day of the event you have any problems (lost, can't get in), feel free to text me at 778.918.7156.

It was nice seeing both the regular attendees, as well as new people to the group and Bitcoin in general.

Food was good, service was great (handling so many people shuffling places must've been hard, but the staff appears to have handled everyone just fine).

On the other hand, the place was a bit stuffy (especially the toilets that could use some more airflow), dark (one of the attendees had to use a phone flashlight to read the menu) and loud (having a conversation was hard at times - either you would not hear the other person or have to grate your throat to speak louder). Maybe next time if the weather will still be nice we could try sitting outside?

I would love to have the patio. It is easier to reserve, however, the less nice the weather is

I'm gonna be a little bit late (day job stuff beckoned :( ), but everything is all set up. If you don't see the fireplace (our meeting area), ask any staff member. Bring Bitcoins!

Please remember that if something comes up and you cannot attend, it is courteous to change your RSVP status to "no" if there are no spots left. This is in case somebody who wants to attend could use your spot.
