Bitcoin Drinks & Local Food @ Hawkers

HWKRS MRKT is a monthly "underground" food marketplace that allows food startups a place to connect with each other and their customers. They help increase accessibility and awareness for local food products in Vancouver, and support diverse food entrepreneurs in the community.

Hashco has once again set up shop to sell beer for bitcoins using a new POS their company has designed. By exposing the public to Bitcoin at a central hub for vendors, they convinced some merchants to accept--last time we scored some organic honey! Now we're going back in hope of converting new merchants while enjoying drinks and local food.

I think we had too many meetings this week - usual Monday at Quad, Tuesday at Francesco, Wednesday with Ethereum and now this event at Saturday.

Yeah, I always try to space my events at least a week and a half apart. The excess is because other people start events without consulting me on the date, then request I list them on Meet Up. There's an event on Friday I also contemplated listing. Coordination requires cooperation, but at least tge events all have very different themes/activities so you can pick your favorite!

      What's the event on Friday?

At any rate, having multiple events to chose from is not too bad. At least there is something happening around here. A bit of more advanced notice would probably be better so people can pick and chose their activities for the week in advance.
