Hey guys I really wanted to be there but must work late it turns out. Since the last meetup I attended, I've received some media attention for accepting Bitcoins for Massage and Yoga services, in MacLean's Magazine and Scientific American! But I'm embarrassed to say I haven't even done any business using Bitcoin yet! Maybe you guys can help me change that: To drum up bitcoin business, I'm offering half-off any massage or yoga punch card. Both make great gifts! Was going to share this in person. Check out my website(s) http://www.pacificbliss.ca, then email me - [masked] or[masked], we'll go w/ the cavirtex rate, and you'll get 50% off. My wallet: 1KLqr1gKA3t2TDdbWw25sNY5uurfzVYutL
I'd love to one day accept ONLY bitcoin, but right now I'm still eager for my first bitcoin clients!

Keep the faith Michael! Many of us work day a night to develop businesses or technology to make bitcoin easier to use, we will do it! David mentioned lack of female participation in the group (not unusual with tech meetups) perhaps we could leverage your service together with the meetup to attract more people of the fairer gender, who may also be potential clients!

Hi All, We talked about tracking us while we are surfing the net, and I mentioned the Firefox add-on: "do not track me".
    This is the link:
    https://addons.mozilla.org/en-us/firefox/addon/donottrackplus/

It takes 10 seconds to install and then you can see who is tracking you while you are surfing. Install and enjoy.

yearly cost to run a meetup depends on billing plan. I use once of the cheapest plans with the most upfront cost. Cost to me is about $150/yr.

The atmosphere was a little noisy and it was a bit challenging to learn more about all the different people.
