Monthly Legal MasterMinds Network Luncheon for Law Pros: Business & Intl Law

Legal Masterminds Monthly Group

Business and International Law

This event is only for those in the legal profession.  Attorney Robert Lord, event host, invites you for a bite to eat and network, while we determine how to best help inform the business community regarding useful legal topics through lawyers’ presentations or seminars.   We’ll discuss presentation topics for businesses, recommend lawyers to present, and evaluate promotion methods.  Then, let’s form one or more roundtable discussions, like MasterMind groups (, to discuss legal marketing, strategies, and building teams by leveraging mutual skills.

Please contact Robert Lord, event host, to recommend topics for discussion.

The topics for the October 17, 2013 event are:

. Which legal issues are of interest to growing Bay Area businesses and would attract them to attend a presentation or seminar?

. What teamwork methods can be used to capture Merger and Acquisition (M&A) legal work that would be untenable alone?

The Legal MasterMind event host will select non-competing attendees from RSVPs, to maximize the free-flow of ideas and thoughts.  You must be a lawyer or provide a critical service to the legal professions to attend this event.  If a competing legal professional has been invited, we will invite you to another Legal MasterMind event.

Luncheon is from 11:30 to 1:30, and Osha-Liang will provide lunch and refreshments.

Update: The Alameda County Law Library, in Oakland - does have conference-rooms available in various sizes. Rental is 20-40/hr, the largest seats up to 28 people. I'll check for some more potential venues.

Very productive. And appreciated the thoughtful lunch. Anxious to follow-up and see what we can achieve.

Great input and planning for public service legal seminars to help SME's with legal issues. Nice diverse group of people.
