Evening Class--Bootcamp on Hi-Tech International Business Law

When starting a tech company, you aim big; you want your product or service to be the global leader.  And why not?  The Internet reaches every corner of the planet after all.  However, the challenges you will face are not just the coding problems being solved by your software engineers.  There are also technical, complex, legal challenges for businesses operating online and/or internationally.  But you shouldn't be fazed; our team of experts will help prepare you for your journey and guide you through:

o  Business formation;

o  Legal implications of online business activities;

o  Overseas employees – their rights and your risks; and

o  Social media and how to protect your intellectual property internationally.

Our interactive and informative sessions will give you access to legal experts in the areas of business, online law, employment, and intellectual property law.  A 15-minute presentation will be devoted to the multiple topics mentioned above and there is plenty of scheduled time for questions from the audience.  Please join us afterwards for some refreshments and networking.

LIMITED SPACE: LIMITED SPACE:   Please cancel RSVP if unable to attend, as seminar is announced in several Meetups and expected to be filled.

The seminar is complimentary, but we encourage a donation of nutritious, non-perishable food items to Second Harvest Food Bank of Santa Clara and San Mateo Counties (http://shfb.org/).  A box to deposit the non-perishable food items will be provided at the site.

We just grab a coffee and speak French. Some people have been coming every week for months... it creates a kind of warmth to the group.
