The purpose of the event is to provide resources to Small business and entrepreneurs in general.
I am a Bilingual Employment & Training Specialist at The Greater Richmond "GATE" Entrepreneurship Program.
The Greater Richmond GATE is a powerful opportunity to help all Workforce Investment Act eligible adults, dislocated workers and Veterans start businesses in the Greater Richmond Region. The project operates under the Virginia Employment through Entrepreneurship Consortium (VETEC). The region has a wealth of entrepreneurial opportunities, and Greater Richmond GATE has all the right ingredients for success.

Hello, I own a small freelance branding and design business in RVA. I see from you resources you have quite a list of vendors available to assist budding entrepreneurs. I am more interested in connecting with new business owners at the event that may need graphic design/marketing resources, but wasn't sure if this was the right platform to do so. Is the set up similar to a job fair with vendors & booths, or will the platform be free for other small businesses to market themselves. Thanks!

HI Leslie, I don't know that this event is precisely what you are looking for but as it is a free event catering to small business owners I would imagine that they would show up in large numbers and there would in turn be lots of opportunities to network accordingly
