For the next meetup, Rob kindly offered to do a presentation about jQuery and all the cool stuff you can do with that framework and go deeper into it. If anyone else wants to assist him or show off some of your jQuery demos, bring your laptop along. Also, if you are expert with another Ajax framework (Mootools, Dojo, ExtJS (now Sencha)...) that would be interesting if you could share your knowledge with us. We have booked the lounge-bar (open space Globe & Karaoke@23) at Centara Grand in Central World on the 23rd floor from 7pm to 10pm (you can check the hotel here: http://www.centarahot.... Let's trial the venue to see how it works for us. I've seen it and I like it. We have no strings attached - so far the hotel management seems glad to have us there for free, so big thanks to Centara. Internet I got mixed info about Internet. I saw many Wi-Fi connections available as I was there, so we just have to sort it out. Should be no biggie. Let's give this venue a try and enjoy presentation and drinks.. CU all next week!

Some further info about the venue.
It's Centara Grand CentralWorld - for those who haven't been there - it is basically behind the (x-)CentralWorld - a tall sharp over 50 floor building behind of it. as you get there - just go to the elevators - 23rd floor - it is a lounge kind of place at the same floor as reception. Ask staff if you cannot find - called Karaoke@23.
