October Meetup - LeanStartup techniques

Efraim Pettersson will be talking about LeanStartup techniques: "learn how to actually build a successful startup by learning what your customers want"

Lean Startup is the formulaic, proven methodology in creating a new successful business model. Come learn how to systematically build a product that your users and customers want - validating every aspect of it step by step. Fail fast, learn faster, succeed fastest. -- Lean Startup is replacing the old, defunct models of business management science in a rapidly changing global business environment. You either learn how, or you wont survive. Thats how simple it is.

Efraim Pettersson, serial entrepreneur starting at age 16, has led R&D in building 7 successful hitech startups in 4 countries. One of the earliest adopters of the opensource movement and an original practitioner of leanstartup techniques in tech (many years before it was called leanstartup by Eric Ries), he brings an uncanny and hands-on view of how this new business and product development science not only came into existence - but how it rapidly evolves. Everyday. Currently CEO of his 8th startup, eKita ( - leanstartup methodology is fundamental in the way Efraim and his team build the company.

As usual, we will have a 15-20 minutes Q&A at the end of the presentation.

This time around we will do this meetup at Hubba co-working space:
A: 19 Soi Ekkamai 4, Sukumvit 63 Rd., Prakanong Nua, Wattana Bangkok, Thailand 10110

I cant say anything about my own presentation...
One thing I got good feedback on was that my quick showing of the various canvases was confusing and not as beneficial - I will fix this for next time and go more in-depth and actually show how these canvases are used. I should have had test cases we could have stepped through a few canvases with to show how to use them.
If you have anymore feedback on how this presentation can be improved, please let me know. I love criticism.

Excellent!! In fact I came away from that presentation with some great new tips, even if Efraim did waffle on sometimes :) - public speaking isn't so easy. But when challenged he rose up and really started to hit the nail on the head and be succinct.

There's already a lot of people on the waiting list. Please, please, if you are not coming, make sure to update your RSVP if you are not coming next Tuesday. I am saying this because last time for the Ookbee talk, we had a lot of people on the waiting list as well, people that really wanted to come and in the end 20-30 people didn't show up. It will only take 1 min to update it.
