Are you our Journey Lead?
As a Journey Lead, you'll step into our customers' shoes to define, develop and optimise the ideal online white goods purchasing journey. You will join forces with our manufacturers' marketing teams to develop a deep product understanding and collaborate with the Appliances Online team to craft the user journey, monitor web analytics and report on all aspects of the customer proposition.

Our perfect match is someone who is obsessed with the customers' needs and will do whatever it takes to craft the best customer journey. If you revel in understanding what makes people tick (and click), this is the role for you.

What's the Journey Lead role all about?
Thinking with a 'customer first' mind-set to become an appliance storyteller who understands and addresses the needs of the customer to help them find the perfect product.
Establishing and continuously refining an online content journey strategy to support a specific brand or product category.
Supporting and extending manufacturers' brand marketing initiatives in parallel with Appliances Online's marketing objectives.

What will be my responsibilities?
Develop a deep understanding of customers' motivations and actions; ensure that insights are shared and applied across functional teams.
Create simple, engaging and actionable content across the Appliances Online site, social platforms and email.
Become a brand champion who is able to articulate and promote what makes our products stand out in the marketplace.
Conduct ongoing usability tests to gauge content effectiveness, analyse data and make recommendations based on those results.
Collaborate with manufacturers to maximise brand positioning opportunities on the site.
Deliver regular progress reports against key performance indicators including conversion, average order value, bounce rate, time on page and click-through rates.
Partner with writers, editors, designers and content strategists to be an arbiter of best practices in messaging, grammar and style.


Practical skills
A Marketing degree or equivalent
Previous use of web analytics
Experience of presenting reports
Intermediate to advanced Excel skills
Commercial acumen
