Intro to Sencha Architect

We've been off for a couple of months, so I think it's high time to start back up and close out 2012 by getting together again. I'll be presenting an overview and demo of Sencha Architect version 2.1, which was just released in August. I'll show off the basics of creating both mobile and desktop app layouts, along with how to hook up your MVC classes and event handlers as well right inside the IDE. If you haven't given Architect a look yet, or if you tried Sencha Designer last year and weren't too impressed, you should definitely come check out the latest version.

We're also excited to announce that going forward we'll be meeting at Capital Factory downtown! While the arboretum area is convenient for some folks (including me!) one thing I've been really missing at our meets is the opportunity for socializing afterwards. We've had a few informal "drink"ups that were more relaxed and better for chatting and networking than our formal meetups, and we really wanted to combine both aspects. Downtown at Capital Factory, we'll be within a block of 6th street and will have ample choices for those who want to continue the discussion after the meetup ends. I thought we could try Buffalo Billiards this time if anyone is interested (though I'm open to other options as well).

By the way, if you aren't familiar with Capital Factory yet, it's an awesome co-working space and startup incubator. If you are at all interested in finding out more about it, they have open tours every Tuesday and Wednesday at 4pm.
