Anybody know of a decent cross platform smartphone development book.
Apress has a new book, Pro Smartphone Cross Platform Development. Anybody look at this book. ?I am a newbie at this and can't tell how good the book is. ?Only cross platform book I have seen though.

I am definitely interested in a hackaton. ?Weekend with some "light amber fluid with a slight amount of carbonization" plus some BBQ would keep Austin Weird.

Love the idea.? I am purely interested in hacking on mobile apps ranging from e-commerce to games.? Sencha Touch looks a lot like ExtJS, but when you start working with the framework and mobile platform, it's actually quite a different playing field.? Anyway, count me in as definitely interested.?

Hey group, what do you think about having a "hackathon" sometime (like, after the new year ;) I'm thinking some evening or weekend afternoon we could get a group together and hack on anything Ext / Sencha related. This could be for work, personal project or just for fun/learning. I am certainly qualified to assist with anything Ext-related, and could probably fake my way through Sencha Touch or other Sencha tools ;)

Anyway, just thought I would gauge interest. No need to commit to anything, but if it sounds intriguing let me know.
