Reason number one, I want to meet more people who share my interests. Most people I meet aren't really technical thinkers. I'd also like to have more understanding of the challenges African Americans face in tech, so I could do more to help keep work environments inclusive, because I've seen this be an issue in the past. I hope I'll get a sense of this by osmosis even if it might not be the explicit topic of a meetup. I have a hobby of studying R&D methods and process, so meetups with that element are pretty cool.

Hello, I'm a UX Designer, and help teach General Assembly's Front-End Web Development courses (HTML, CSS, JS). I also used to work in the API design and usability - the science of what makes programming confusing. Fun stuff! :)
