It was great to see you so many of you at the last VBM. I am sorry if the place was a tad too tiny, but I am a big supporter of local business, particularly a small coffee shop in the Downtown Eastside such as The Blackwater Cafe. Big kudos to Adrienne for keeping up with all of our requests!
Most definitely, next time, we'll do it in a much larger venue. But it's important to me that you provide me with honest feedback. The good, the bad (and the ugly) of the meetup.
Please also join me in thanking Isabella Mori, who is the founding organizer of Vancouver Bloggers Meetup. Now that the blogging sword has been passed on to me, I just hope I can be a worthy follower of Isabella's great leadership.
Thank you all who came, those of you who couldn't make it, we DID indeed miss you.
As I mentioned at the meetup, Rebecca Bollwitt asked me to thank participant Blogathoners for joining in the effort, and reciprocally, please join me in thanking Rebecca for all her hard work in organizing such a worthy effort (despite facing really tough personal times), and in thanking our fellow Blogathoners for devoting 24 hours of their life to make a difference.
Looking forward to seeing you at the next VBM (potentially at Isabella's house - we'll be having a talk about this!
