Bring your ID. Grendel's Den is a 21+ venue. There is no WiFi but you might find an open network nearby if the signal is strong enough. (Grendel's is on the basement level.) Food is 1/2 off until 7:30 PM with a minimum $3.00 beverage purchase.

It was different from the previous blog meetup I attended. That one had some structure and we had a separate room to eat and talk in. This one was mainly for people that happen to have blogs to hangout and talk.

Good organizational event. It's a great group of people. In the future I'd like to continue to have a social event with food and beer, but in an area where it would be easier to mingle. I'd also be interested in having a portion of the meetup where would could do a show and tell type of thing where we could look blogs or blogging tools and techniques.

The event was well attended, but might have benefited from a sign on the table indicating that it was a meetup group. I wandered around the venue for several minutes before figuring out that there was, in fact, a group meeting there.
