hi rahul, 

You should probably be getting out of memory exception..  
Use Picasso from Square or Universal image loader. 
Using these alone might not solve the problem if your images are really heavy.
You will have to scale the images to the appropriate size if out of memory is the issue that u are facing . 

regarding volley . volley is faster than Picasso for first time run but doesnt have L1 cache .. it does have an L2 cache though 
Volley would not be my first choice is quick integration is the first criteria ..

Problem : The app seems to crash if we download more than 4-5 images. Need some suggestion on how do we handle the images without compromising on image quality and still keeping speed.

We have implemented paging on the API with page size 10 but the app crashes for 4 user itself.Is there a way to manage this better please?
