Hi,

I recently developed an app on maps v2.
Yes most of the method are not available.

you can use mapview provided by gms but mind me its very easy compared to v1.

Adding markers,getting directions etc.

Hi all,

I'm working on a project that makes use of Google map.The app i'm working on is already present in play store and working fine. Now i have to made some changes to that project. The app was developed by some other developer and he used Google map v1. But now Google map v1 is deprecated, to made any change we have to use v2 or v3.

He used mapview functionality of v1 throughout the application, in v2 we use fragments.

All functionalities working fine except map is not displaying when i run the original source code.

My question is, is there any way to change map of v1 to v2 without changing functionalites of existing code.?

i tried to change v1 map with v2 map,it is not supporting existing functionalities.

Please suggest me if there any ways to achieve this or i have to re-build it from scratch..

Any suggestions are appreciated.

Thanking you
Dharshan
