We had 14 people consisting of 7 guitarists, 2 banjoists, 1 cajonist, 2 mandolinists, 7 singers, I enthusiastic observer who will return with an instrument next time, and I more guitarist at the end who was given a set of strings that he really appreciated. Song styles included bluegrass, fiddle type tunes, country, folk, Irish, old rock, Dylan and probably more. There's more of you out there in the woodwork somewhere. C'mon down. Sit, sang ,'n pick a while. The stage leaves sometime around 9AM and runs out of gas from 1:30 to 2:30 PM. No "strings" attached and it's all freeeee.

Check out the J. D. Crowe tributes at Jim Mills pre war banjo store on YouTube. There were Earl Scruggs, Don Reno, J. D. Crowe, Alan Munde, Billy Keith, Bela Fleck, Grandpa Jones, Jim Mills, Doug Dillard, Clarence Ashley, and so on - all banjo legends. J. D. is still around and still pickin' with a passion. Use a search engine and type in: Jim Mills, J.D.Crowe and banjos on YouTube" and you'll probably get there.

We just grab a coffee and speak French. Some people have been coming every week for months... it creates a kind of warmth to the group.
