Hello Ruby people! Please read all the way through - I promise, only the first paragraph is a shameless plug.
I wanted to call everyone's attention to The Compleat Rubyist event: http://thecompleatrubyist.com
. It's a two-day event in Philly with three pretty majorly awesome Rubyists instructing intermediate to B'more-on-Rails-style Badass coders in some of the more advanced bits and pieces of the language. I've personally had the chance to learn at the feet of Jeremy McAnally, and I can tell you, there's a LOT left to learn. So check it out and go visit our brothers up at Philly.rb at the same time. Win.
Also! Tomorrow will be my final night as the Open Source Hack Night "dude." With any luck we'll coax Jonathan Julian into running it, but lack of direction won't iterfere with my celebrating my brief tenure as OSHN organizer (and my departure for Boston) in true OSHN style (which is to say, "with beer"). So I hope to see you guys out there, and if not, it's been real. We'll always have Pitboss (sort of).
Right, I'm out. See you tomorrow, with pizza!
