At the finale of or previous meetup we discussed what kind of things we want to cover in the next meetup. It was unanimous that we should cover some ground work for using jQuery on public facing web sites. So were going to cover some of the most commonly used features of jQuery: * Using CSS Selectors to manipulate the document. * Common syntax * Altering element attributes * Creating jQuery functions We will analyze some bits of code to demonstrate these concepts. Im hoping our sessions will become more and more interactive, which seems to be the direction they are heading. So bring any fun bits of code you have questions about or would like to show off to the group. See you there! Pizza and Refreshments will be provided.

Does anyone know of a good place to find advanced examples and/or tutorials for event firing/throwing and listening between custom class components (ergo: custom xType)? I'm having the worst time getting my wrapped components to talk to each other in the global scope via events. I'm open to suggestion. [ [masked] ]
