In honor of the March on Washington anniversary, we began by viewing a portion of MLK Jr.'s speech as recorded in a 1970 documentary film that was aired on Democracy Now today. Then we looked at some photos and video of BES members participating the March on Washington commemoration this past Saturday.

Then we watched the main feature "Patent Absurdity". Ronit's son, mathematician Ben Klemens, was interviewed in the film! That was a pleasant surprise! Good presentation of the problems with software patents. I hope the filmmaker releases an update with the results of the case In re Bilski.
