Prof. Gul Dolen gave an excellent presentation. She discussed the history of autism, starting with how it was once called "childhood schizophrenia", then progressing through different definitions in the DSM reference manual. She discussed known genetic causal factors, such as "Fragile X". She debunked the idea of an "Autism Epidemic" and explained how the proposed link between vaccines and autism arose from deceptive research practices. There was lively Q&A where she answered questions about Asperger's syndrome and why psychiatric treatment using drugs has been unsuccessful.

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.

Henry, started Reno Motorcycle Riders
