Freeform Gaming

This meeting will be a freeform gaming event. Freeform Gaming meetings are open gaming events where everyone is welcome (and encouraged!) to bring along any games they would like to play. We always offer an introductory board game for new attendees (or for old veterans who've never played that game). If you bring a game, please be prepared to teach it to others, or make it clear up front if it will be a learning game for everyone. Rules lawyers and game-crappers should feel free to stay home.

To attend, all that we ask is that you review the Group Guidelines and please RSVP at least 24 hours in advance. If you are on the fence about coming, please let us know in your comments and confirm one way or the other as soon as you are sure.

For the new faces (I see a few of them), people tend trickle in between 4:30 and 6ish. It's very casual. Feel free to bring any board game(s) you want, but it's not required as there's a lot of people who bring games. (One or two store them in giant plastic tubs which will be plopped down)

I'll be on the lookout for anyone wishing to do an intro game, but we're generally very ad hoc with all games. Find some people that look friendly and ask to play, or you might get invited by some of our more friendly members. If you'd like some sort of help choosing based on skill level, I can probably give some recommendations.

It's perfectly okay to be late.. as mentioned.. the group is very casual!

I'm surprised by the level of growth I've seen since becoming an organizer, it's given me more confidence in my abilities.
