Introduction

I'm a small-time independent board game designer from Boston who is spending the Summer in Houston TX.

Where do you buy your games?

Local retail stores in the Boston area (I would love to find some in Houston) and via Kickstarter.

When did you start playing games? Is it a new interest or a longtime hobby?

Started with Magic and the Star Wars CCG when I was in middle school; picked up Eurogames shortly afterwards.

What are your favorite games?

Mostly well know Eurogames - Agricola, Le Havre, Brass - but I'm starting to play more quick/simple strategy games that have interesting game mechanics.

What types of games are you most interested in playing (Euro-style, strategy, trivia, traditional, etc.)?

I love playing, playtesting, and designing high and low complexity strategy games. Additionally, I'd love to get exposed to more educational board games.

I assume you figured out I was unable to make it to the meeting. Crap. Was very much looking forward to it. Would love to hear your feedback by email.

Hi Jeremy. This is Clay, prepping the "Masters of the Gridiron" game. Just wanted to say thanks for your detailed feedback. I already removed the "beta testing" stuff and we're re-thinking the price points.

We're in Ashford, CT. Hoping to make it up to "Game Makers Guild" one of these days (alas, not today as I have physical therapy for rotator cuff surgery).
