Just wanted to add a link to the programming at ApolloCon - note the food and drink events and the Firefly LARP.

Hello all,
My name is Frank and this is my first year planning and coordinating gaming for any Convention. I'm trying to make gaming something that people plan for at the convention as well.
I've only been to last year's ApolloCon and I think that Todd's assesment isn't wrong. Please help me to change this! I have a variety of games planned, you can see descriptions of what games are going to be there on the website now. I should have an actual schedule up soon. www.apollocon.org/gaming.html
Help me make gaming a success this year! Come out, give it a try, give me your feedback. This is one of Houston's conventions, this means it's one of Your conventions, and I'm trying to make it the best I can.
Thanks!

There are a lot more games on the schedule this year than I expected.

I ran games there a couple (or 3?) years ago and it was pretty fun but the panels were staggered, i.e. there's always something to see.? Mostly people were dropping in between short Sci-fi panels?so the typical attendee?only had 1/1.5/2 hours to spend, at maximum, at the game tables at once.? Fine for me as a Cheapass Games demo guy and fine for James Kent running Ninja Burger, but Justo Perez had a pretty sweet minis board set up and didn't see much go down.
?
I couldn't make the last one (or two?) years due to kid commitments, any comments from more recent attendees?

Marty,

I am organizing gaming this year at ApolloCon. I am still
looking for GM's to run games. Would you be willing to pass the
word to your regulars to any who might be interested?

Feel free to pass my email around, I can distribute GM sign up
