New Word Game testing -- this Saturday, 1-3pm

Attention Word Game Enthusiasts!

Thanks to everyone who attended our Thursday evening event a few weeks ago to give us feedback on the new WORD CARD GAME concept we've been developing for about a year. We're going to do it again -- this Saturday, March 3rd from 1-3pm in Bloomington.

We're targeting people who love Scrabble and other strategic-thinking word building games for their input. The game that I've invented is called "Play on Words" and it's a combination of Scrabble, Anagrams and Rummy … giving a versatility and flow unlike any other word game I’ve seen.

The strong aspect of “Play on Words” is the ability to change already played words, both yours AND your opponents, during the course of play. And you just play the game with a clear tabletop – no board, dice, timer or game pieces. There are different variations and build-ins to make the game as simple or complex as you want.

We're looking for people to give us their feedback on the general basis of the game, its features, and ideas for improvement. For those who have played it at earlier events, we invite you to come back and give us your input on what would be the best reward and scoring system for the game.

FYI, I am just a regular guy with an idea, I am not a company. But before I go a lot further with the idea I want to get the input from both casual and dyed-in-the-wool word game enthusiasts.

This Saturday's event will be in a big office building just off Hwy 494 and France Ave S. in Bloomington, in the main-floor conference room. You’ll see a sign as you walk in. We'll be there between 1:00 and 3:00 p.m.. (Stop in, as convenient. You don't have to be on time.)

3601 Minnesota Drive Bloomington, MN (Right next to Fuddrucker’s a block north of Hwy 494 off France Ave. S) The building is called "France Place."

We'll have some free beverages, light munchies & drawings for some small gift cards as a token of our appreciation.

[Note: If you’re interested in being part of this testing but can’t make it this Saturday, please email me and I’ll send you an announcement to a separate event – may or may not be listed on MeetUp. Thank you.]
