Settlers of Catan Tournament

Format: Everyone plays 2 four players games. The top 6 players play 1 game at the final table.

$5 participation-fee, all goes towards minimal expenses and awards/prizes. Cash only when you arrive. Refund given only if you don't play.

18 and older only please.

There will be NO instructional time on how to play the game. There will be a brief explanation of tournament format and scoring method for the tournament.

If you have a copy of the game please bring it. If you could leave a comment that you're bringing a copy that would help. Also, we'll need someone to bring the 6 player expansion as I don't have it.

Additional tournament info: the scoring system is to see who qualifies for the final table, 6 player game. The final game will not be added to your total. It's a stand alone game, first player to 10 wins the tournament.

Feel free to bring other games with you to play once the tournament is over. We pretty much have the balcony all day so once the tourny is over you might want to stick around and play other games. It's possible after the first 2 rounds we could open it up to other games with the final table plays there game.

If anyone knows someone they can borrow a copy from that would be great. Right now with 24 coming we're covered but that could change. Alot depends on how many 3 player games we might need. I imagine I won't know that until it's time to start playing.

Please bring as many copies of the game as you can. Right now we need 6 and I think we have that covered. It's just if we have to have some 3 player games we'll want to be sure we have that covered.

I currently need 5 copies of the game for 17 players. I think we have that covered so far. We'll have some 3 player games going. The hope is to get everyone in 1 4 player and 1 3 player game. But the math may not work out that way. If not then we'll have a system where either the last place players get to play in two 3 player games or the top players have to play in 2 four play games. It depends on our final numbers and how the math works out.
