Games are a great way to break the ice & really get to know new people, which is perfect for a social butterfly like me! I find it important to remember to take life seriously, yourself lightly, & always keep your wits & a sense of humor about you.
Favorites include: Backgammon, Cashflow, Monopoly, Clue, Trivia Pursuit, Scrabble, etc., and some that aren't played on boards... Pictionary, Apples to Apples, Guillotine, Fluxx, Scattergories, Scruples, Taboo, & others... and I'm always open to learning more, but, of course, the all-time best card game ever is MUNCHKIN.
"I find chat to be the easiest way to stay in touch with old friends, and the means most conducive to getting to know new ones. I`m rockstar_dreamer74 on Yahoo (my IM preference), and have Pidgin available for all other clients, where I`m some variation of KarmaSoup for everything else. So, don`t be a stranger, feel free to say hello anytime!"
Fun times!

and what happens if I don't have a side of nerd? :-)
I have a question I have been wanting to ask you. When you collect geeks do you put them in nice packaging, shrink wrap them, and put them on a shelf to gain value? JUST KIDDING! :-P
You are amazing, I read your okCupid profile and I am so impressed with you. I like the idea that you do not judge a book by the cover. I look forward to the day we meet.
Hey lady! Good to "see" you again :) This is a great group of peeps - very encouraging and fun activities. Enjoy! Justine
Although I'm new to Minnesota I'm willing to bet we're no more than three degrees separated. Less if you have a shortcut to Atlanta. Look forward to meeting you.
Hi. You seem like a nice person. Hope to meet you sometime.
Hi, KarmaSoup --
The response to our Studio Bricolage meetup entry was gratifyingly awesome and we're just catching up to the messages. Thanks for becoming a member. Cross-posting to your Geeks group would be just fine for any of our events and I'm sorry I didn't respond 'til now. We will be posting future events on meetup and hope to see you tonight.

You are quite fabulous and perfect, I would love to see the private series.

Thanks! I have been working on the railroad all the live-long day. I'm finally resurfacing. Hope to show up...this looks very silly.
