Atlanta Boardgame Monday Meetup

A gathering of 20-30 folks to play the world's best boardgames. All are welcome. The Atlanta Board & Card Game Meetup Group meets the second Monday and fourth Sunday each month. There will be games available for play and Jason's Deli serves sandwiches, salads and soups, so you really don't need to bring anything. If you have something you want to play you are welcome to do so. We get a good group of folks of all ages. If you are a woman wondering where all the nice single men with good jobs are, they come and play boardgames. I'm not kidding, ask my wife. We've plenty of space. We will play until closing at 10pm, so even if you can't make it at the start time, feel free to drop by. We generally play shorter games to start, so late-comers don't have to wait too long to get into a game. If this is your first meetup with us, this may be a more organic group than other meetups you have been to. There may not be someone to approach and welcome you when you come in. If everyone is playing a game then it is possible nobody would greet you right away. The folks there are social and friendly, but are really there to play games.

Great gaming with Ward and Leon and Leon's wife Susan (HAPPY ANNIVERSARY again to you two) and Chris and Nancy. Learned more about the 'simple' game of Ticket To Ride, and got introduced to Blue Moon City, which I thoroughly enjoyed; many thanks to Leon for introducing the game.

We just grab a coffee and speak French. Some people have been coming every week for months... it creates a kind of warmth to the group.
