Post #: 11
Hey all, Ward said to go ahead and post this here, so I hope you can join us. We are putting on Faerie Escape: Atlanta this weekend at the Doubletree NW Atlanta off Windy Hill. The game room is open to anyone who wants to join us. You do not have to register for the whole event to game with us. It will generally be open gaming, but there are some scheduled events. From the program book:

The Cabernet Sauvignon room is open all weekend for gaming. Feel free to stop by as you please to try out any games that are there or bring your own. In addition, we have a sneak preview of Hi-Rez Studios upcoming mythology-based massively multiplayer game SMITE and some scheduled games as well.

Saturday, June 16, 1 pm

Join us at Faerie Haven, a card game from Mushroom Circle Games. Each player tries to build havens using Heroes and Items. The other players use events and attacks to destroy the havens of opponents. The player with the most points at the end of the game wins. The “personages” featured in the game come from Arthurian, Celtic, Roman, Nordic and Greek mythology as well as Faerie lore.

Sunday, June 17, 11 am

The Queen of Air and Darkness.

This introductory RPG set in the late Middle Ages sends the characters off to recover a lost child, stolen by the Queen of Air and Darkness. Expect a lively, fast-paced game good for players of any (or no) experience levels.
