What are we expected to bring? Soda/water/snack?

You don't need to bring anything, but feel free to bring something if you want.

I've played Dominant Species once (5+ hours). I'll watch a Clash of Cultures walk-through before Saturday. Looking forward to meeting everyone

Who will be running/teaching each game?

    October 19, 2013

    • Brian

I guess the first question is does anyone have a preference for a particular game.

I'll run Clash of Cultures. I haven't played before, but I will read through the rules the night before.

How long does Clash of Cultures / Dominant species take from start to finish each? 5 hours?

    October 12, 2013

    • Brian

I've only played Dominant Species before. I don't think it has to be that long, but I've had a game of it take 6 hours.

BGG says 4 hours for Clash of Cultures. Between learning the rules and getting through our first game, we should assume 5 hours or more. BGG says 3 hours for Dominant Species. The one game I played took over 4 hours.
