Bring your favorite boardgames and cards for a fun night!! We'll have dinner/snacks and play games. Please keep the food and drinks away from the games. We'll meet in the separate room near the entrance. Just ask the host for the Meetup Games group. All ages are welcome. See you there! Event time is from 6pm - 10pm.

I am new to the area, and have been trying to find a board gaming group I like. I have come across a number of board gaming groups, but it is unclear, in the name and/or the description, what type of board gaming the group does, either party games, Euro Games, Strategy games, or even Card Games. I also noticed, groups meet at different times, places, and days of the week, but in general seem to mostly be the same persons that show up to these meetups, or the same meetups being listed under different listings and names on meetup. I was wondering, if there could be a consolidation and a clearification to all these different or same meetups. Or at least, specify exactly what kind of games the group plays. thank You!!!

This group plays all of those kinds of games, though the emphasis is more on light strategy and less on party games. Party and card games are mostly the openers while people eat dinner. I've never seen wargames like Fortress America played by this group or Play MY Games. The Sunday meetup at Fiesta Mall (by a different group) is a party games group.

We just grab a coffee and speak French. Some people have been coming every week for months... it creates a kind of warmth to the group.
