  • Recently my company sponsored an event at K1 speed in Bellevue. I had a blast and I thought it would be a nice change of pace from our regular meetups. We can get 3 14 lap races for $40 each

or, and I like this option, we can do the group setting and have a little tournament.

I'd like to do at least the grand prix which would be $60 each and we need a minimum of 6 people.

    What do you guys think?

I've been to K1, it's a lot if fun. There's another place in the south end that's also really good, can't remember the name right now, gas powered instead, bigger track too.

There's an indoor place in Tukwila called SyKart. Personally, I think their track is better than K1, but it's still pretty restrictive since it's indoor (tight lanes, all 90* turns, etc).

I've gone karting at Pacific Grand Prix in Kent many times and it is far and away the best place around (and probably one of the best karting tracks in the country). However, it's outdoors. Driving in the rain is fun, but it's not good for first timers because it makes car control...interesting. It's further away, but for about the same price it's a much better experience IF you can manage a rain-free day.

My work place did this, but I could not attend - sounds fun - I can do the $40 or $60. I just need a date and time. Vrrrroooom vrrrrroooom! Honk, honk, beep, beep, aroooga-rooga, pip, pip, cheerio! Tally-ho and all that other good stuff??? Lets all drive like ladies and gentlemen. :)

This sounds like fun. I love it that there's no gas fumes! So hard in a closed envioronment (or even in partly closed environments)
