Wits and Wagers

Wits and Wagers is described as the Trivia Game for people who don't know trivia.  You earn by knowing trivia and by knowing your opponents.  All of the question have numerical answers.  They are also questions that you would be very unlikely to know exactly.  An example might be "When was the first newspaper published in America?"  Each player or team writes down their answer on their color coded card.  The cards are gathered and arranged on the board in numerical order.  That's the trivia part.

Now, here's the opponents part.  Who do you think is most likely to know the question?  Place one of your gaming tokens by that answer.  The answer is then revealed.  Price is Right Wagering rules apply (Highest bid without going over is correct).  Collect your poker chips for guessing the closest answer or for wagering on the closest answer.  Onto the next question.  Repeat seven times and calculate the final score.  Scoring results can go over the place.  Teams that were behind for the first six questions catch up on the seventh.  Other teams have been leading and gone bankrupt.  Games have been won with totals from 6 to 600 points.
