Chocolate Olympics

The South Bowie Branch Library of the Prince George's County Public Library system is sponsoring the Chocolate Olympics on Halloween evening.  Come out and test your chocolate skills.  They have Candy Bar trivia, relay races, spoon races and more!  The library is advertising this as a "family" event, so there will probably be children there.  As such, its only fair that we open this up to children also.

The group will not be charging $1 since another organization is sponsoring the event.  The library does not require reservation in advance.  Do rsvp on this site, though, so I have an idea of who to expect.  Once at the library, just ask the desk to point you towards the chocolate olympics.

We arrived late, and then it wasn't what I expected. It was mainly meant for kids and it was a competition for teams that were already formed. My family left as soon as we arrived. If they have this in the future, we may do it with Daniel, though, when he's old enough to enjoy it.

There were adults there, but I think this was really designed for children and their families.

We may possibly be late. Husband is leaving his work now, then we'd have to dress him up and leave from our house.

Are they going to show the drowning-in-chocolate scene from Makavejev's masterpiece SWEET MOVIE?

I'm not sure. Since this is a family-friendly event, they would be more likely to have a scene from a movie like Charlie and the Chocolate Factory.

    I'm guessing we wear costumes?

Anyone who wants to wear costumes is welcome to do so. I don't think it's a requirement, though.
