We will try a return visit to the Family game Store in Historic Savage Mill. Every Saturday evening from 6:00 PM to midnight they host an open board game night. "Take one of our games for a "test drive"! Play one of our 70-80 games in our library or a game brought from home. Whether you're playing with old friends or new, you're in for a evening of fun."
From our previous visit, I would say that at least some of us want to be there right at 6:00 PM if not even a bit before. The gaming area seats about 40 but it will be full. There is additional seating in the food court near the store, but the food vendors will probably give you a dirty look if you don't purchase something...(this can be a small as a bottle of water).
If you need to arrive a little later or leave early, there is no problem. The family game store also has a selection of games available for purchase. Their prices are not cheap but they do have some selections that you would not find in a Target or Wal-Mart.
AABM will not be collecting any dues for this event. If there is interest in grabbing an early dinner beforehand at the Ram's Head Tavern (literally just down the hallway), we can post that as a separate event.
