Upcoming Tavern Game Night

Hello, Gamers!

Some of you may recall that this Spring several of us attended two Tavern Game Nights sponsored by Montpelier Mansion of Laurel--one at Russett Library and one at Sullivan's Steakhouse.  Retcently I recieved an e-mail from Holly Burnham, director of Montpelier indicating that they are planning another Tavern Games night for the fall and thought we might be interested in helping/participating.

They are looking for people to run games such as Buck or Shut the Box will small groups of visitors.  They will also have additional games either from colonial times or about colonial times.  Some of these groups will include or be composed of children.  They will teach us the games first if we need a refresher.  I think this could be a good opportunity to help out a local historic site as well as a chance to plug our games meetup as well as other games meetups.

The information for the event is as follows:

Tavern Games Night.  Monday, November, 04, 2013.  6:30 to 8:00 PM.

held at: Russett Library (Maryland City at Russett Branch, 3501 Russett Common, Laurel, MD, 20724.

Right now, I'm just looking to see who might be interested so I can e-mail Holly and tell her yes we  have several people interested or no we don't have anyone interested.  It won't be until September/early October that I would be looking for a firmer committment.  If you might be interested, you can e-mail me directly through meetup.  Don't respond to this e-mail or everyone will be getting a whole bunch of extra messages.
