Hi Ruth,
I haven't played Diplomacy in 35 years. I'd love to but time is the problem with me. The truth is I would only have an evening, hardly enough time to play a full game with 7 people. Of course the location is important too - lots of tiny coves and insular areas for personal discussion.
My best times are weekday evenings although I'm teaching Mon. evening until 5/18.

I'm a great fan of meeting in coffee shops, or in good weather, perhaps a picnic type thing at the rose garden in delaware park. (My home is a mess as well.)
