This thread is for members to post what games they want to run next week and players looking to join those games. Monday at 7pm we'll post the game list for the week and that's when players should sign up. Late games may be added so you may want to check back before Wednesday.

Slot 1
Space Alert - Andy - Filled - (Andy, Jenna, Shelia, Jeff, AndrewL)
Belfort - Rodney - 1 seat available - (Rodney, Ryan, Isaac, Paul)

Anyone interested in trying Pantheon? This is another newer release that I've yet play that combines a few different mechanics such as area control and hand management. It's got feet meeples for marking movement so it must be somewhat cool :)

I'd like to run:

Slot 1

Space Alert

90-120 minutes

Up to 5 players (It's preferable to have a minimum of 4)

The time listed above is negotiable. We're going to follow the games' suggestion and learn in stages. I think we should be able to get in 4 mission runs in under 2 hours (this assumes no previous experience with the game). If the intro missions are going well, I'm hoping we'll get at least one full mission with internal threats.

Space Alert lends itself well to learning as you go. A typical mission is 10 minutes long (the mission is an audio file on a CD, so the time is very strict), followed by the resolution phase (finding out whether you survived, or were blown apart). We'll learn in stages, as playing through a mission will teach the rules about as quick as sitting around listening to them.

It's a coop, so we need to (attempt to) work together. Space Alert does a great job of showing how quickly it can feel like 10 minutes passes.

Rodney, I would like to give Belfort a go and/or perhaps Inca Empire if you wouldnt mind running either of those. Not to shoot down pantheon but belofort and inca are two titles ive heard good things about and would like to try. I also wouldnt mind a slot 2 le havre as that game has been on my mind lately.

I can offer up Belfort for slot one. The rules are still somewhat fresh in my head.

Inca, while I remember it being a great game I don't remember the rules well enough to run it without having to read the rules again..... which I won't have time to do before Wednesday. Plus I recall Inca playing best with four.
