Details

Our lighter games meetup event. This is a great opportunity to socialize and play games in a relaxed environment -- and best of all, there's no cap on attendance.

We are a casual group of people who enjoy playing complex board games -- the kind of board games that make you think. We play a variety of games, but the games at this particular event are going to be on the smaller side -- because those are often the games that work best in a cafe setting.

Our main meetup requires RSVPs due to heavy popularity and finite space. This event runs simultaneously, a few buildings away. RSVPs are NOT required for this event. RSVPs are still appreciated so the event hosts know how many people to expect, but you don't need to update them and can come even if you don't RSVP.

This event takes place once a week (alternating Mondays and Wednesdays), from 7:00 - 11:00. There are two excellent cafes right there, Clover and Bailey & Sage. Their food is honestly pretty good, so please take advantage of them if you are hungry for dinner, soft drinks, or snacks.

We play whatever people bring, but you don't have to bring anything -- the hosts will always have a bag of games with them! Some games that you might expect to see here include:

Red 7, Love Letter, Codenames, The Resistance: Avalon, Bang! The Dice Game, Glory to Rome, Innovation, Saboteur, 6 Nimmt!, Hanabi, No Thanks!, Incan Gold, Forbidden Island

If you're looking for longer or larger Euros (like 7 Wonders, Puerto Rico, or Terra Mystica), check out our regular "Not as Light Game Night" meetup.

If you haven't played these kind of games before, but think you'll like them, you're welcome too! But be aware that you are NOT likely to find traditional American games (like Monopoly, Sorry, Risk, or Poker); heavy strategy or negotiation games (like 18xx, wargames, or Diplomacy); or pure abstract games (like Chess).
