I've been playing "niche" games (like RPGs) most of my life, but I'd say only really got into Board Gaming in the last 5 years.
In terms of face to face, I've enjoyed American-style games like Touch of Evil and Elder Sign as well as Euro-games like Power Grid or Stone Age. I generally prefer cooperative games but don't mind competitive, so long as everything stays friendly and there are not a lot of rules arguments.
It doesn't matter to me. I enjoy both venues.
Sure, although I play more for casual fun than for competitive challenge.
I recently moved to Midtown and enjoy gaming of all kinds, but being a corporate professional I don't always have a lot of time to spare. I love learning new systems and meeting new people, so this seems like a good group to join.
